Pneumococcal Vaccination

The influenza A H1N1 pandemic saw a surge of influenza-like illnesses (ILI) reported around the country and the globe. Beware this disease

Each year, almost one million children worldwide below the age of five are facing death due to pneumococcal disease. According to a report in the New Straits times (Feb. 4, 2008) in Malaysia there were 8207 cases of infant pneumonia in the year 2000 but this number increased to 8573 in 2005.
